You get up in the morning and you want to listen to classical music. Classical music is at 100 on the dial, and you tune the radio to 96. Do you hear classical music? No. Since you don’t remember the classical music station, you turn the dial until you finally find it. Then you set the number for the next time you want to find it.

And now you can enjoy the music you like.

That dial is a metaphor, since people don’t listen much to radio these days. However, the same applies to videos on mobile telephones or computers. If we want to see a video by Author X and we enter the name of Author Y, it will be hard for us to see or hear the words of the author we are looking for.

Dials and Internet search engines have the same function: taking us where we want to go. The same is true in life, and it’s that simple. We tune the dial to what we wish to achieve, and we achieve it.

But to do that, we first must know what we want. And this is linked to people’s frantic search for a series of things that simply don’t exist, such as joy, happiness and the meaning of life.
