The Yi Jing is one of the oldest books in the world, and through the millennia its wisdom has shaped the core of Chinese culture and civilization.

However, due to its graphic symbolism (trigrams and hexagrams) and sometimes obscure language it hasn´t achieved the same dissemination as other books of Chinese philosophy like the Classical or Confucian books.

Nevertheless, the Yi Jing is the root of all those books and the key to understanding the development of the Chinese nation.

Its principles and guidance are a gift from the Chinese sages to the world.

Each year, Rosa Negra took an inventory of her library. To accomplish this, she surrounded herself with a great many assistants, all of them book lovers, who combed through the stacks, arranged materials, and drew sketches of spaces and functions for visitors to enjoy reading.

There were reading rooms and conference rooms in which people from many countries would share their knowledge. Heated discussions were not uncommon, but if they made too much noise, Rosa Negra’s wolf would enter, frightening them a bit, and they would lower their voices. Everything would become peaceful from that point on.

On one of her strolls through the stacks, Rosa Negra approached a window and saw a passing cloud gliding gently through the sky. Suddenly she remembered: the California cloud, the one on the little pocket computer! She ran to her room, to the small suitcase where she still kept her treasure and opened the notebook computer. And she connected to Mathew in Silicon Valley.

You get up in the morning and you want to listen to classical music. Classical music is at 100 on the dial, and you tune the radio to 96. Do you hear classical music? No. Since you don’t remember the classical music station, you turn the dial until you finally find it. Then you set the number for the next time you want to find it.

And now you can enjoy the music you like.

That dial is a metaphor, since people don’t listen much to radio these days. However, the same applies to videos on mobile telephones or computers. If we want to see a video by Author X and we enter the name of Author Y, it will be hard for us to see or hear the words of the author we are looking for.

Dials and Internet search engines have the same function: taking us where we want to go. The same is true in life, and it’s that simple. We tune the dial to what we wish to achieve, and we achieve it.

But to do that, we first must know what we want. And this is linked to people’s frantic search for a series of things that simply don’t exist, such as joy, happiness and the meaning of life.

Before you stop reading because of what I’ve just said, turn the page.

THE PERFUME OF THE QUEENS IN THE FRAGRANT PORT

Legend has it that the Queens, on their return trip to Nanking from California, begged the captain of the Boat of Desire to first take them to a magical place near the mouth of the Pearl River in southern China. They had read a book in the ship’s library that talked about the port full of boats of all colors and its blue waters framing strange buildings, all protected by green mountains.

The captain fulfilled their wishes, and the Queens were fascinated to see such an unexpected city that seemed to extend thousands of needles up into the sky during the day and then rest at night beside its calm waters and serene mountains. They would have to come back here again, but now time was pressing for their return to Nanking. Yet, how would they find their way back without the captain to help them?

The solution was very simple. Their fragrances would guide them. Rosa Roja, Rosa Blanca and Rosa Negra trickled a few drops of their perfumes into the limpid waters. Ever since then the city has been called

Hong Kong – Fragrant Port.

After many years of research devoted to studying Yi Jing, the Leibnizian principles of cause and effect, binary mathematics, and vortex-based mathematics, I came across the famous Tesla statement:

If you only knew the magnificence

of the 3, 6 and 9,

then you would have

the key to the Universe.

The statement was of no surprise to me because it corresponded with the results of my studies. However, up to that point, all my effort to develop Inner Transformation according to the Yi Jing had been unsuccessful. My research pieces fit together, although not in the cohesive way needed to explain the process of Inner Transformation. Neither could I explain it with my knowledge and research about the Yi Jing. Only when all the afore-mentioned pieces were united in a logical concatenation, could all the elements converge to explain the universe.

And then, I discovered the key.

Such discovery, in turn, posed another question, because, once found, what was its use? Where was the door in the universe that required that key to open it? What is the function of a key if it doesn’t allow access to another dimension of knowledge?

If the reader exercises patience and studies the book step by step, he will be able to understand the logical order that will allow him to acquire the key to the Universe.

And not only to the Universe…

The three queens were bored. The silk route, entrusted to their protection by Genghis Khan, was secured, creating a bridge between Asia and Europe. China was also experiencing a period of prosperity and peace under the reign of the Ming Dynasty. But the queens, accustomed to going through fire and water to emerge victorious from the most extraordinary adventures, were feeling bored.

Rosa Negra proposed a meeting in her library, where books from all the countries of the world were kept. There they could consult them and decide which country to visit in search of new challenges. The three queens gathered in Rosa Negra’s library in the Geographical Maps Room.

The room was immense, and its walls were covered with maps of hundreds of countries of the five continents. The task was not easy. After long deliberation, they still had not found a country that would ignite their imagination. Suddenly Rosa Blanca found a small book on one of the shelves. Its title intrigued her, “The Legend of the Mojave Desert.” She, who loved deserts, began to imagine all kinds of adventures in the gentle and glowing dunes, but … of what country? The desert was in California in the country of North America.

They located a map of California and began to read about its geography and history. Rosa Negra was fascinated by its northern mountains and Rosa Blanca immersed herself, through her imagination, in the Mojave Desert. Rosa Roja, on the other hand, did not find any landscape similar to her beloved steppes. However, in Spain, she had lived in a large city, Córdoba, and she was intrigued when she found a city of such immense, unending magnitude with a very exotic name that suggested winged and celestial beings similar to those that navigated the infinite steppes, The City of Our Lady Queen of the Angels. Her surprise was even greater on learning that the city had been founded by a Spanish governor, Felipe de Neve. The queens would again encounter Spain in a country so far away. The decision was unanimous: We are going to California!
